Having a Dog means....

....having things that you like chewed up.

....having holes dug in the yard.

Anyone know how to train a puppy to not eat things that are left
on the ground and to stop digging holes in the yard?

Halloween

Vampires were everywhere!
In this picture we have Shaley, Jade, Maycie, Aubrey, Tayler, and Kaden.
5 vampires and 1 Alice in Wouderland!
We had such a fun night going to trunk-or-treart then going around our neighborhood. We called it a night at around 8 because it started to get a little cold.

The kids had a Halloween parade and party at school.

Maycie and Aubrey were the only ones that wanted to carve pumkins. Tayler doesn't like cleaning them out and decided that he would rather go to bed.
Of course the girls had to have vampire pumkins to go along with their vampire costumes!

SnOw SnOw Go AwAy!

Off and on yesterday and almost all through the night it snowed. The kids are so excited that they can sleigh ride after school today, Me i am not excited at all! The road construction in front of my house is not done yet. They have done sidewalks and curbs but have not go to the pavement yet. Hopefully since the sky is blue today and we are supposed to get some nicer weather this week they can get it done so we don't have a mud pit all winter. My poor trees are going to fall apart with all the snow and leaves hanging from them.

This is the newest member of the family, Dash!

He is a short hair English setter, 12 weeks old and a pain in the butt!! Just Kidding, he is actually doing really good considering he is just a puppy. I just wished that there was a pet gym so that he could be exercised more while its cold outside. Some one please open a gym for pets, I would be a member for sure! Jared says we just need to get a treadmill, if anyone know of a great buy then let me know!

Updates!!

So I have been the biggest blogger slacker! I have a couple of updates that I need to catch up on.

So Jade broke her arm at the lake riding on the back of a 4-wheeler with Shaley. They just got to camp and were excited to ride the 4-wheelers. They were going to fast and hit some bumps wrong and rolled it. Jade was more upset about not being able to camp then breaking her arm. She wore a splint for 3 weeks then a fitted splint for 2 weeks. Everything looks great and now she is splint free!

A couple of weekends ago we had an eventful but productive day at the Jensen house! We celebrated Arron's Birthday! Elizabeth made the best cake ever, you will be getting a call from us to make another like it someday :)

Deena, Joslin, Elizabeth, Jade, and I made 25 pillowcases that will go to local troops!

And we go the big deck done, It looks great! We just need to buy one more rail kit and the last of the railing will be completed. Jared did a great job and we are proud of the work that he did.

Hands

So this was a lot of fun.
Jared had to pour cement for the stairs and we decided it was the perfect opportunity to put our mark down, even thought the steps will cover it! The kids thought it was really fun.

Tayler wasn't sure if he wanted to do it.

This was a lot of work, Jared shoveled all the rock over as we laid new weed stopper down. Darrol would even out the rock as Jared moved rock back.
